Begonia sparreana is a species of plant in the family Begoniaceae. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. They are commonly grown indoors as ornamental houseplant.
Begonia sparreana has reddish green, simple leaves that are alternate. The leaves are ovate, serrate and petiolate. It produces cymes of light purplish pink flowers.The perennials produce loculicidal capsules.
